On December 21, 2016, Apollo Medical Devices was awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant for $225,000 to help continue research and development work on its handheld blood analyzer and accelerate Apollo toward FDA submission and clearance. On October 4, 2016, Apollo Medical Devices was awarded a $25K grant from the Center for Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology’s (CIMIT) Point-of-Care Technology Research Network (POCTRN) to develop the user-interface of Apollo’s analyzer.
